该剧基于Matt Ruff2016年所著同名奇幻/恐怖小说，设定在1950年代吉姆·克劳法实施期间，讲述黑人男主Atticus Black和好友Letitia以及叔叔George踏上公路之旅，在全美寻找失踪的父亲，他们要克服白人至上主义带来的压迫，同时与邪恶势力斗争。

《金装律师》的Jessica Pearson衍生剧正式获预订。USA台宣布预订该剧整季，故事来到芝加哥，将聚焦Gina Torres饰演的强大又有型有款的女律师Pearson。《金装律师》第7季最后一集也是衍生剧的“后门试映集”，这集编剧是本家主创、执行制作人Aaron Korsh和Daniel Arkin。

ITV续订真实罪案剧集《寻凶 Manhunt》第二季，定名为《寻凶：黑夜狩猎者 Manhunt: The Night Stalker》，仍然4集。 　　Martin Clunes回归扮演高级督察Colin Sutton。第一季编剧Ed Whitmore继续负责剧本。 　　故事基于Colin Sutton的日志和真实事件改编，讲述了警方对一个臭名昭著的连环强奸犯的追捕，他17年的罪恶行径让伦敦东南部数千名老年人生活在恐惧之中。这是Colin Sutton退休前负责的一桩重要案件。 　　剧集已开拍，预计2021年播出。

The network has renewed its drama series for a third season. The pickup for the series, produced by Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment, comes seven weeks after The Cleaning Lady wrapped its 12-episode second season.
